CUSTOM BOOKCASE
The customer wanted to improve the layout of the existing bookcase by enlarging the shelf space and creating additional storage areas for home decorations. They wanted the new bookcase to provide better organization with a covered storage area that had convenient access. They also wanted a better solution for the toe kick heater located at the bottom of the seating area.
AFTER
Shelves were extended to the windows providing more shelf space and a cleaner look. Trimwork added to the top of unit to provide a more finished appearance. A bead board backing was added and covered shelves for additional storage. Three functional easy glide drawers were added to the seating area for EVEN MORE storage. A much better solution for the toe kick heater was created, because you don't even know it's still there...
KITCHEN / FARMERS SINK
The cabinets were in good shape, so we recommended a fresh coat of white paint. Additional space was needed to accommodate the farmers sink. New countertops to provide seating for six, upgraded back splash tile, and an installation of a new smooth induction cooktop complete this project.
AFTER
A new cabinet was made to accommodate the farmers sink. The cabinet was made to match the existing cabinets and new hardware was added to all of the cabinets. New countertops and tile back splash can make a world of difference!!
TV CABINET / MANTEL PIECE
The angle of the television was not ideal based on the dimensions of the wall. The television components were concealed, but needed a better solution and more appeal. The shelving units on both sides of the door provided little room for home decor. The customer wanted to increase the size of the TV, add a electric fireplace, and at the same time find a better look to hide their home entertainment system.
AFTER
Additional space was created to allow for a larger television and central speaker. Electric fireplace was added with gray subway tile surround. Cabinets with plenty of detail were added that allowed the customer to better hide their home entertainment components. A single storage area was enlarged and made to match the other side with a clean, crisp, more appealing look.
